The holiday season will be here before you know it, and your front door deserves more than a tired old welcome mat. Join us November 14th at 6pm at Hammer & Stain Roxbury for a festive DIY Holiday Doormat Workshop!

Choose your favorite design, then customize your doormat in the studio with your choice of paint colors. Whether your holiday style is classic and cozy, merry and bright, or served with a little sass, you’ll create a welcome that’s perfectly YOU.

No experience needed—we’ll guide you step by step! Gather your favorite people or come enjoy a little creative time for yourself while making something fun and festive for your home. Your finished doormat also makes a thoughtful handmade gift… if you can bear to part with it! 😉

HOW TO REGISTER:

  1. Choose  project design from  dropdown menu
  2.  Tell us who you'd like to sit with
  3. Add personalization ONLY if it pertains to the design chosen
  4. Confirm
  5. Checkout

*Simple substitutions of words within the shown design and layout can generally be made at no additional charge. However, significant changes to our standard designs or special requests for a new design are considered custom and must be pre-approved and submitted at least 7 days prior to your event. If approved, a customization fee of $25 will apply.

***Due to the customizations at ALL our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS! However, if you cancel with at least 24 hours notice your project will be set aside for 30 days and you can join a future public workshop or Open Paint to complete your project. SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS OR NO SHOWS WILL NOT get a credit for a future workshop! Please email us (hammerandstainroxbury@gmail.com) to cancel. If you do not show up for a workshop that you have a spot reserved, you forfeit your payment.

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
