Family still in town? Keep the fun flowing! Join us November 28th at 11am OR 2pm at Hammer & Stain Roxbury for our monthly Resin Open Pour Workshop!

Create a gorgeous resin piece to keep for yourself or turn into a handmade holiday gift for someone special. No experience needed—we’ll guide you step by step!

Choose your project when you arrive from a variety of available options, including cutting boards, trays, wall décor, trinket trays, lazy Susans, coasters, and unique finds.

Then make it completely YOU! Choose your color palette and explore accents like sand, gold flakes, and shells. From ocean-inspired waves to colorful swirls, there’s plenty of room to let your creativity flow. 🌊💖

Bring your visiting family, gather your friends, or enjoy a little creative escape during the holiday bustle. Choose your session and reserve your spot—let’s pour something beautiful!

Please note: Resin Sun Catchers and Resin with Flowers are not available during Open Pour. These projects are offered in their own specialty workshops, listed on our website.

How It Works:

  • Reserve your spot with a $25 deposit (applied as a credit to your project selection at the workshop)

  • Choose your project in-studio (projects range from $25–$95+) **Project examples include: a range of cutting boards & trays, decorative pieces to hang on the wall, trinket trays, lazy susans, coasters & some unique one of a kind pieces

  • Instructor-led pour session—great for beginners & experienced makers

You will get to choose your own colors and mica powder at the workshop to use to create your very own resin boards. Please NOTE that you have to LEAVE your project at the studio to completely dry and settle for 24hrs. You will be able to come back to pick up your projects the following week.

***(Resin doesn’t come out of clothing, so please dress accordingly. We will have aprons but we still suggest you keep in mind that this could ruin clothing).

Due to the customizations at ALL our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS! However, if you cancel with at least 24 hours notice your project will be set aside for 30 days and you can join a future public workshop to complete your project. Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT get a credit for a future workshop! Please email us (hammerandstainroxbury@gmail.com) to cancel. If you do not show up for a workshop that you have a spot reserved, you forfeit your payment.

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
